Samsung is apparently working on the next phone in the Galaxy Pocket series, PhoneArena is reporting. The device marked as SM-G110B may be the first phone ever to run Android 4.4 KitKat on a QVGA screen.
We don’t have all the details, but we do know that the mentioned display will have a diagonal of 3.3 inches, while the rest of the specs will include 1GHz processor (single- or dual-core). The price of an unlocked unit will likely be below $100 and in that sense, this little phone will be finding its buyers in the world’s emerging markets.
We’ve no idea when Samsung will officially announce its next Galaxy Pocket — or however the SM-G110B ends-up being called — but we’ll make sure you’re the first to know when this phone launches. Stay tuned…
