HTC made deal with Marvel to create a Limited Edition Captain America S.H.I.E.L.D. version of its One M8 flagship phone. The sexy lookin’ device comes in Gunmetal Gray with a numbered S.H.I.E.L.D. etching on the back. Moreover, you also get Captain America wallpapers as part of the deal, but… Here’s the part we don’t like – this special version of the phone is not available to the general public. Rather, the Taiwanese company will be giving away few of these through its super selfie special contest running on Facebook and Twitter. U.S. customers are the only ones eligible to participate, though. Kinda sad… Alas, we’re hoping that this special variant will eventually be selling in other parts of the world as I’m sure I’m not the only one craving for the “Captain America approved” smartphone. 😉
