LG is about to start rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for two of its mid-range phones, L9 II and G Pro Lite, skipping Android 4.3 Jelly Bean along the way.
According to LG Italy’s Facebook page, the L9 II will get the goodies in the coming weeks whereas the G Pro Lite owners will have to wait for the end of the second quarter. Meanwhile, some LG L9 II users in Slovakia have apparently started receiving the software update, and if that’s the case – the rest of Europe will undoubtedly follow shortly.
Aside from all changes Google included in KitKat, users can also expect newer version of LG’s own software that includes the popular Knock Code, allowing users to unlock their phones with just a few taps. In addition, we’re sure many of the known bugs will be squashed along the way…
As usual, make sure your battery is fully charged before tapping that “update” button. Good luck. 😉
