Huawei is teasing the world with its next flagship device that will be unveiled on September 4th. We don’t have all the details just yet, but we do know it will be marked as “something 7” with the teaser image featuring a prominent “7” as its centerpiece.

We think that the next Huawei flagship will be known as Ascend D7, featuring top notch specs and a big screen. According to information we’ve already got, this will be a phablet device, sporting a 6-inch display, perhaps with Quad HD resolution. In addition, we expect it to boast Huawei’s own Kirin 920 octa-core chip that combines four fast Cortex-A15 with four battery friendly Cortex-A7 cores. Moreover, we may also get a second camera on the back, one that would allow users to focus image long after the photo has been taken.

Finally, I would assume the Chinese handset maker would want to bring the Ascend D7 to as many markets as humanly possible, and in that sense – we hope to see it hitting carrier portfolios in Europe and North America.

Alas, none of the things I just mentioned is confirmed and we’ll have to wait for few more weeks to get all the details. Meanwhile, we want to know what do you think about Huawei’s upcoming phablet? Would you buy one?
