mInfomInfo scored a partner in China for its mobile search product. It’s China Telecom which will use MInfo’s solution to offer the so called “QuanNengSou” (Complete Search) services to its subscribers.

Initially, the new service will be available in key markets in Q2 2009, while the nationwide launch is set for the second half of 2009.

Commenting on the announcement, mInfo’s CEO Alvin Wang Graylin said: “mInfo is honored to have been selected by China Telecom to deliver such an important and influential service for its 2G and 3G networks. We are uniquely qualified to execute on the demanding requirements of this new search service and look forward to helping all of China Telecom’s users find the information they need quickly and easily.”

For the record, mInfo is also in the final selection list with Baidu for the search partnership with China Unicom.
