We’ve told you that Lenovo is working on an iPhone competitor and today we get to see it officially being announced. The new Lenovo Sisley S90 can’t help but remind us on the iPhone 6, though we would argue it looks even better than Apple’s smartphone, boasting more metal for an even more premium look and feel.
Inside, however, it’s a mid-range device with specs that include a 5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 720p HD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core chip clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, dual-SIM, 16GB of internal storage, NFC and a 2,300 mAh battery. In addition, there’s a 13-megapixel camera on the back that is coupled with an 8MP selfie shooter. Price is set at RMB 1,999, which translates into roughly $327. Users get to choose between few color options, such as pink, gold, silver and grey.
All in all, we would say that the Sisley S90 is not only made to compete with the iPhone but also with Samsung’s Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy A series. And we like the fact that more companies are adding metal to their mobile products. No word when or even whether Sisley will come to the West, though.
