Samsung’s 2027 flagship lineup is starting to come into focus. After the standard Galaxy S27 appeared in the GSMA database a few weeks ago, the remaining three models have now followed. The Galaxy S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra have all shown up in the same records, as reported by SammyGuru.
GSMA database entries are one of the earliest formal signs that a device is in active development. They don’t carry hardware specs, but they do confirm model names and numbers. That makes this a meaningful step, not just for the expected models, but especially for the S27 Pro, which would be a new addition to the lineup.
Rumors about a Galaxy S27 Pro have been circulating for months. The idea is straightforward: Samsung wants to offer buyers a premium option that sits between the standard models and the Ultra. The Ultra is Samsung’s most capable phone, but it’s also large and expensive. The Pro is said to target people who want flagship hardware in a slightly smaller, less bulky body, without settling for the base or Plus models.
Based on the GSMA listings, here’s what the S27 lineup looks like so far:
- Galaxy S27 — SM-S952
- Galaxy S27+ — SM-S956
- Galaxy S27 Pro — SM-S957
- Galaxy S27 Ultra — SM-S958
The model numbers follow Samsung’s usual pattern. Regional suffixes will be added at the end, so U for the US market, B for global, N for Korea, and 0 for China. Nothing unusual there.
This is the part that matters beyond the model numbers themselves. Samsung has been the dominant player in the Android flagship space for years, but competition has intensified. Brands like Google and Apple have trained buyers to expect clearly defined tiers. A Pro option gives Samsung a more granular lineup, one that could attract buyers who currently feel the gap between the Plus and the Ultra is too big a jump in both size and price.
It’s also worth keeping the Fan Edition in mind. Samsung typically releases an FE model later in the year, aimed at buyers who want the flagship experience at a lower price. The Galaxy S26 FE is expected around September. A Galaxy S27 FE will likely follow in 2027, but it’s too early to expect that one in any database yet.
Samsung hasn’t said anything officially about the S27 series. These database entries are just the first breadcrumbs. Specs, pricing, and availability are still a long way off, but the four-model structure for 2027 now looks increasingly likely.
