Just got a note from Rogers saying that the iPhone 3G cut to $99 will be happening north of the border as well on June 19th., and that the $199 and $299 price tags for the recently-launched 16 GB and 32 GB iPhone 3GS respectively. The 6 GB/ $30 plan that was reintroduced as part of their Android debut will also be available, but on the downside, those who wanted to nab an iPhone 3GS outright won’t be able to – here’s hoping you’re eligible for an upgrade, or you’ll be swallowing an uncomfortably-sized early termination fee. It should be worth noting that Rogers was happily listed as one of the tethering supporters. Maybe that 15 GB plan doesn’t look so ridiculous after all…
Update: Correction – there will be a no-term price, they just aren’t saying what it is yet.
