So Poland has now get a new Mobile Network Operator, called CenterNet. It’s a GSM network (don’t get too excited) running in the 1710-1730MHz range.
Apparently CenterNet is aiming to get 200k subs on in the first year, and be at 2.5m within five years! Of course, as we all know infrastructure roll-out takes time, so in the meanwhile CenterNet have a domestic roaming agreement sorted with Orange Poland. Interestingly though, CenterNet needs to have 30% population coverage within 6 months – crumbs – they are going to be some busy guys and girls getting that sorted out!
