Now I’m a technical person. I can do this 8 step program to get Music Recommenders to work:
A plug-in is now available from www.mozdev.org which will allow you to access our website from within Firefox; without this plug-in the site would only be viewable in Internet Explorer. Please use the following instructions in order to install the Internet Explorer tab in Firefox and allow access to our site:
1. Open the following address in your Firefox browser: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/
2. Click on the "Install Now" link
3. Once the plug-in has downloaded click on the "Install Now" link in the pop-up installation window
4. The plug-in will install, and you will the have to close all of your Firefox windows
5. Open Firefox again, and access "Tools" -> "IE Tab Options"
6. Type the following address into the URL box, and click "Add": *.od2.com
7. Type the following address into the URL box, and click "Add": *.musicrecommenders.com/*
8. Click "Ok". You should then be able to access our shop using Firefox.
Please note: the Firefox IE Tab is 3rd party software, therefore OD2/Nokia Music, the company behind this website, cannot take any liability or guarantees for the use and installation of this software. Should you have any further questions or need more information, please access the developers’ official website at http://ietab.mozdev.org/
But honestly I don’t want to have to deal with this bullshit!
Why not just open up IE Stefan … ? Not really!
How about making your website compatible with the browser that people who live on the edge of the Internet, people who would actually know about Nokia Music Recommender, actually use?
Check it out for yourself here, thanks to WOM World:
Australian indie punks, Airport City Shuffle, have been recommended by Missing Link Records, from Melbourne, over at the Nokia music recommenders’ site.
Their new single, “It’s All the Same to Me†is available now for purchase, jump over to their myspace and let them know what you think, or go straight in and pick up their music.
