Ever heard of ‘National Ice Cream Day‘? Me neither. But apparently in 1984, Ronald Reagan declared the third Sunday in July to be National Ice Cream Day. If I was president I’d do a lot of things like that as well. ‘National Steak Day‘, ‘National Wear a Velvet Robe to Work Day‘, it’d be great. At any rate, the only reason I’m mentioning this is the developers over at NimbleBit are giving away one of their games for free to coincide with the special day.
‘Scoops’ will be available for free via the App Store on Sunday, July 19th. The game is one of skill, and forces you to tower stacks of ice cream scoops as they fall from the top of the screen. But watch out for onions and other rude things you probably will not want to stack. The game is fun, challenging, and well put together.
