CDMA-flavored Toshiba TG01 passes FCC

The single most powerful smartphone on the market in terms of CPU clock, Toshiba TG01, has been cleared by the FCC. And we’re talking about the CDMA version here, which could end up in Verizon’s or Sprint’s portfolio. You know the specs — there’s virtually everything you could imagine under the TG01’s hood (GPS, WiFi, huge WVGA screen, and so on) — but the main trick is in that fast Snapdragon CPU which ticks at 1GHz. Finally, we are hoping that once released, Toshiba’s speed racer won’t ship with the “pre-installed virus,” like it was the case with O2 Germany…
