C’mon, who really uses Google Voice anyway? Oh. That many, huh?
Man, if Joe Rogan is pissed at Apple about pulling the third-party Google Voice app, you know it’s serious. What, Mike Arrington’s ditching his iPhone over it? Ah, whatever. In addition to the GV debacle, Will, Stefan and I also go through the relationship between Google and Facebook vis-a-vis a potential Android app, as well as what Sprint’s acquisition of Virgin Mobile U.S.A means for both companies.
This week we’re giving away a black mophie juice pack air for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The juice pack air a lighter and sleeker version of their beefier, more powerful version, but still offers a significant boost to battery life for those power users out there. U.S. readers, leave a comment in this post for your chance to win!
So long as you’re commenting, check out Stefan’s post asking how much you pay in a month on wireless, and what you get for it. I think we’ll see a lot of interesting international contrasts there, so go ahead and take a look at the comments so far.
We’re also continuing our App of the Week series. This episode we’re looking at travel apps for iPhone, Symbian and BlackBerry – hit the jump for download links, and the week’s headlines, rumors and releases!
Music by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, as featured on Tap Tap Revenge for the iPhone.
