Never put it past Apple to piss off the world two weeks in a row.
Between censoring dictionary apps and Eric Schmidt leaving the board of directors, we’ve got plenty more Apple drama this week. Will and I run down the Apple review process, as well as follow up on the Apple/Google relationship talk from last week. Unfortunately Stefan wasn’t around to elaborate on his excellent tirade on the mythical iTablet, but we give our own relatively moderate takes on the situation.
Our giveaway this week is the BlackBerry VM-605 Bluetooth Visor, which normally retails for $84.99, is a fine accessory if your handset doesn’t support FM transmission. By simply pairing up by Bluetooth and setting your car radio tuner, you can shunt your phone calls and music to the stereo system with minimal fuss. A single-button control system lets you pause music and initiate voice-activated dialing without being distracted by what’s on the road. U.S. residents, leave a comment, and you’ve got a chance to win this beaut!
Our App of the Week segment goes over photography options for mobile. Sharing, improving image quality and video streaming are all fair game, and all our apps picks are free! To check them out and lots more of the last week’s mobile news, hit the jump!
Music by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, as featured on Tap Tap Revenge for the iPhone.
