
Samsung has announced two mid-range slider phones for its domestic Korean market — W8400 and W8700 Honey Bubble — both of which will be available for purchase through the country’s KT operator.
The first of the two (pictured on the right) comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, SOS function, GPS, microSD slot, and a specially designed battery cover for better grip. We don’t have the pricing information at the moment.
As for the more fancier model, W8700 Honey Bubble, it’s called like that because of the patterns on the back of the phone. Highlights of this model include T-DMB mobile TV receiver, 2-megapixel camera, pre-installed subway maps, M-Commerce, media player, and microSD memory card slot.
