Samsung is gearing toward launching its flagship Windows phone, Omnia 2, to more markets. After making it available in countries like Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam (in July), the all-touchscreen phone is heading to 20 more countries — including Australia, China, the UAE, Netherlands and Turkey.
Those not familiar should know the Omnia 2 comes with a huge 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, tri-band HSPA (900/1900/2100 MHz), WiFi, GPS, 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, and 800 MHz ARM processor. Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI is running the show on top of Windows Mobile 6.1, and will be upgradable to 6.5, once it’s released…
