On top of the Nokia Shade, Verizon is also launching another flip, the Barrage, and the Razzle, sporting a full QWERTY keypad. Both scream mediocrity, but the Pantech Razzle’s kind of cool in that it twists in the middle depending on if you need to do some texting or want to listen to the external speakers. Useful? No. Gimmicky? Yes. It also has a 1.3 megapixel camera, EV-DO 1x, and stereo Bluetooth support. The Motorola Barrage sure sounds like it could handle one, as it has been built with military-grade ruggedization, and packs push-to-talk capabilities often needed in rough work environments. 1170 mAH battery, dual speakers, and a 2.0 megapixel camera round out the Barrage, but aside from that, though, it’s pretty much your run-of-the-mill flip. The Razzle will be out on October 6th. for $69.99, and the Barrage will be available for $129.99 on contract on October 1st.
