We’ve already covered Pocket Informant, iPhone app (though it’s also available for other platforms) that goes beyond the built-in calendar application. We have more good news to share for fans of the application – it will soon get the Outlook syncing feature. As a result, you will be able to keep your calendar up to date on both your PC and the iPhone.
The unfortunate thing is that we don’t have the exact release date of the new version. We do, however, know it’s in the final testing stage and in that sense we’re hoping to see it in the AppStore within weeks or so.
Personally, I’m not a big Outlook user (relying on Google’s services instead), but I know many people who can’t imagine living without it. For those folks — if they also happen to own an iPhone — this should come as a great news. Hopefully, they won’t have to wait for too long…
