Wow, ALK Technologies must be happy with the great year they’ve had – firstly, releasing what I think is the best Sat Nav software for the iPhone (at half the price of some of their competitors), and then coming in at Number 1 in terms of paid-for Apps downloads (in the UK)!
Apple recently released their stats for this year, and CoPilot was top of the pile – followed by it’s well-known rival, TomTom. The difference between the two apps may have been small, but the price differential is quite substantial – to my mind at least. I can’t fully compare apples with apples since I’ve not been able to try the TomTom App (yet – maybe when TomTom PR give me a copy to try! Hint!), but CoPilot does definitely fall in to that category of must-have Apps on the iPhone.
