As rumoured, RIM has confirmed their agreement with China Telecom in their Q3 results reported today. The details only extend as far as “devices and services”, but combined with their recent China Mobile and Digital China partnerships, RIM’s hitting this part of the world hard, and in a quarter or two we’ll hopefully see some great uptake from the area. Specifics should be available “in the coming months”. As for the fiscal Q3 2010 results themselves…
- Revenue: $3.29 billion (+11% from last quarter, +41% from last year)
- Income: $628.4 million (up from $475.6 million last quarter)
- Subscribers: 4.4 million net additions , 36 million subscribers total
- Devices: 10 million more units, 75 million devices total
Looks pretty good overall, eh? You can cruise the full report at the via, listen in on the conference call here, or bookmark our Finance page on RIM if you’re interested in keeping tabs on their stock.
