Evernote is on the rage with updating of its clients for various smartphone platforms. Their latest job is the brand new version of the app for webOS devices – Palm Pre and Pixi. Version 1.0 adds a number of features and improves on existing functionality. Here’s what’s new:
- Native snapshot notes within the app, with the ability to add text to the photo taken, assign tags, and select a notebook. Moreover, Evernote will take advantage of a built-in GPS receiver to add location information to the mix.
- Support for attachments within notes. Free users can attach images, audio, and PDFs to their notes; whereas Premium subscribers can attach and sync any type of file.
- Support for checkboxes and to-dos within notes.
- Ability to edit pending notes.
- More languages – in addition to English, Evernote for Palm Pre and Pixi is now available in French, Italian and German.
Finally, Evernote says there are tons of more changes under the hood — including native support for the camera roll, better handling of accounts with large numbers of tags, and much more. Simply search for “Evernote” in the App Catalog and take it from there.
