Some quick Canadian BlackBerry news from Fido. From the sounds of things over at HowardForums, it looks like the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is set to hit Fido sometime in the first quarter of 2010. The 8520 will be available in Black only… No details on exact launch date or pricing, but the SKU has been loaded into Fido’s systems.
The 8520 features a full QWERTY keyboard, 320×240 display, trackpad navigation, WiFi, 256 Flash memory, Bluetooth, 2.0MP camera with video capabilities, and much, much more. If you were hoping for GPS and 3G, unfortunately those options are only available on the 8530 to the best of my knowledge.
