David Hartsfield used to work for Motorola. He worked there for 10 years. He was responsible for CDMA device development and even worked on projects such as the Motorola Droid. David was recently hired by Nokia. His title? Vice President of Nokia’s CDMA segment. If that isn’t corporate backstabbing then I don’t know what is. Motorola is rightfully pissed off and they’re suing David in a Cook County, Illinois Circuit Court, requesting that he not be allowed to take the new post.
Good luck with that. Nokia spends more money on lawyers in a month than what Motorola makes in revenues every year. Whether or not they’re going to help David is another story, but if I had to guess … Nokia is more interested in the relationships David has fostered with Verizon and Sprint rather than Motorola’s future portfolio, so they’ll give him all the legal help he needs.
