After China, Italy is getting the Motorola’s Android-powered BackFlip, which as you may recall was announced during this year’s CES in Las Vegas. We don’t know the exact release date, but that’s not something you need when issuing a press release. We do, however, know the Italian BackFlip launch will happen before the end of March. Pricing details were not announced, as well.

As a reminder, the BackFlip comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, 3.1-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, microSD memory card slot, whereas Android 1.5 with MOTOBLUR UI is running the show, providing users with an easy way to keep up with their friends’ activities across social networks…
