After taking care of Sprint customers, Palm is issuing an update for the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus owners on Verizon Wireless.
Probably the single most important feature of the new version (1.4) of webOS is the ability to capture, edit and share video (via YouTube, Facebook, email and/or MMS). Also worth noting are enhanced apps that, according to Palm, should help users “get more done faster” — the Calendar, Phone, Messaging, and Email apps have all been improved based on the users’ feedback. Finally, notifications are also affected with more customization options, and so is the general stability and performance of the device(s).
