SPB Software has released an updated version (2.1) of its SPB Brain Evolution developmental game for Symbian smartphones. The main new things of this release are revamped controls that have been tweaked for touchscreen-equipped devices (S60 5th Edition).

SPB Brain Evolution is a set of mini-games which have to be played in sequence, where only good results in one game unlock the next one. The brain exercises included are Sudoku, Numbers, Arithmetics, Quadronica, Guess Who, Memorica, Encyclopedia, Minesweeper, Matches, Balltracker, Geometry and Pairs (the last two have been included in this release). All of the mentioned games are made to help users exercise such basic mind activities as logic, arithmetic and memory.

There are two modes – training and marking mode, with latter allowing you to register your progress and eventually share it with SPB server and/or Twitter.

SPB Brain Evolution 2.1 costs $14.95, and a free, 15-day trial version is also available.
