DataViz has updated Documents To Go Premium (former Documents To Go with Microsoft Exchange attachments) to include support for Google Docs. Users can download, view and edit their GDocs files directly from their iPhones, as well as save and synchronize them afterwards. In addition, the new version also brings support for multiple Exchange and Gmail accounts, and fixes the annoying bug that used to lead to freezing rows or columns in spreadsheets.
Documents To Go (“regular” version) has also been updated, but is still waiting to go through Apple’s review process. The new version will add support for GMail attachments (edit and view) and will fix the same row/column-freezing bug. Plus, it will feature an option for easy upgrade to the Premium version from within the app.
It’s only natural for DataViz to address the growing number of Google Docs users and I’m guessing other players (i.e. Quickoffice) will do the same pretty soon.
