The good folks in India will have a new BlackBerry to get their hands on real soon. Which model? Well, if for some reason you missed the headline, I’m talking about the SurePress-packing BlackBerry Storm2. The Storm2 features RIM’s 5.0 touchscreen operating system, SurePress technology, a 3.2″ display (360×480), 3.2 MP camera with video, 256MB of flash memory, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, rechargeable 1400 mAhr battery and more. Basically all of the Storm2 goodness you’ve come to expect state-side.
Set to become available for Rs. 31,990 (around $700 USD), I’m still waiting to hear details on carrier availability and launch promos… I’ll keep my eyes open for that. Stay tuned for more!
