In addition to the Galaxy S which took most of our attention, Samsung has also unveiled another device at the CTIA Wireless in Las Vegas – u820, which is heading to Verizon Wireless.

The touchscreen-QWERTY-slider grabs its place in the higher end of the mid-range segment with specs that include a 3-inch WQVGA display, side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.2-megapixel camera that can take both photos and videos, standard 3.5mm headset jack, full HTML browser, Microsoft Exchange support and a microSD memory card slot. Samsung’s very own TouchWIZ 2.0 is running the show and even packs a special widget called Communities, which as you can presume allows you to keep up with your social networking activities while on the go.

Availability wise, the Samsung u820 is set to hit Verizon’s offering on April 30th when interested folks will be able to grab it for about $100 (maybe even $80) on a standard two-year contract.
