Nokia is bringing its Comes With Music (CMW) scheme to India under the name Ovi Music Unlimited. As far as I’ve understood, it’s not some separate, new service but the one the Finnish giant is already offering in other markets around the world.
That made me think – are we about to see the global re-branding of CWM to Ovi Music Unlimited (OMU)? When you think about it, Ovi Music Unlimited makes perfect sense — after all Nokia is all about pushing its Ovi brand these days. On the other hand, saying that some phone “Comes With Music” sounds compelling, as well.
Anyway, because we’re talking about a music store for India, it comes with songs from both major global record labels and local companies, featuring Bollywood hits and Indian classical music.
This page on Nokia’s website has more information, though unfortunately when you click on the “See Ovi Music Unlimited mobiles and prices” you’ll be redirected to Nokia Malaysia’s website. Temporary glitch, I guess…
