Cricket’s Leaked 2010 Lineup Features BlackBerry 8530, Kyocera Zio, and Lots More

A bundle of Cricket phones slated for a 2010 launch has leaked in a slide deck, which prominently features the BlackBerry Curve 8530 and the recently-announced Kyocera ZIO. Here’s the full run-down of what to expect, when, and for how much:

  • Kyocera Domino (S1310)  – $99.99 MSRP, June
  • Cricket CAPTR II (A210) – $129.99 MSRP, July
  • Cricket MSGM8 II (A310) – $139.99 MSRP, July
  • Cricket TXTM8 3G (A410) – $159.99 MSRP, September
  • Kyocera RIO (E3100) – $159.99 MSRP, November
  • Samsung r631 – $199.99 MSRP, Q3
  • Samsung r710 – $249.99 MSRP, Q4
  • Kyocera ZIO – $299.99 MSRP, July
  • BlackBerry Curve 8530 – $349.99 MSRP, August

Just remember, those pricetags are all before subsidies. On top of the phones, there will be three internet sticks and a MiFi launching over the late summer and early fall, if you’re into that kind of thing. Cricket’s foray into  smartphones will be spearheaded by the ZIO, which will be an impressive little handset for the price point, and the BlackBerry 8530 Curve is one of RIM’s most successful models these days. We’ve been seeing moves similar to Cricket’s north of the border with Koodo; it won’t be long until even the smallest carrier has some kind of smartphone for sale. That being said, we’ll be keeping a close eye on Cricket’s online store for the eventual release of all of these handsets, so stay tuned.
