The OtterBox Commuter series for the BlackBerry Curve 8500 devices will launched with a splash of colour, just in time for the nice weather. Jade green, ardoise slate, red jasper, scapolite gray, and zircon blue will all be available soon, presumably along with the pink version above for the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade should be available around the same time. OtterBox’s Commuter Series is designed to be the Voltron of the mobile case world, able to break apart into hard case and rubber skin and reassemble as needed. I’ve looked at just about every other OtterBox under the sun, but have no reason to think the Commuter series doesn’t deliver the same level of awesome ruggedization and style seen in few other places in the mobile accessory world.
