If the out-of-the-box pricing on the iPhone is just a little to pricy for your budget, TELUS has launched a ‘refreshed’ lineup of iPhone devices… and the pricing is quite reasonable.
For $249 you can pick up a 32GB iPhone 3GS in black or white… $149 will get you the 16GB 3GS (in black or white as well). Lastly, the refreshed iPhone 3G is going for only $29. Solid! All of these deals are of course contingent on a 3-year contract, which you must sign at purchase. Still, if $299, $199 and $99 (for the 32GB 3GS, 16GB 3GS, and 3G respectively) is just too much, savings on a refurb are never a bad thing.
If you have concerns about the overall condition of the units, I wouldn’t blame you. TELUS does note that all ‘refreshed’ iPhones are unused or ‘lightly’ used, and were returned within 14 to 30 days from the date of purchase. They’ve been loaded up the latest OS, and have gone through quality control checks. There may be some scratches or blemishes, but if you can live with that, these are a heck of a buy. All refreshed iPhones have a 30 day return period and a 90 day warranty.
