Thanks to the good ol’ FCC, we know that the Nokia C3 is in works. The upcoming device is now officially ready for the U.S. market, and can freely join its already launched, candybar-shaped brother – C5.
As you may know, the whole CSeries range is made with “focus on social interaction between friends and family.” The C5 delivers on that promise and so will the upcoming C6, which press photos we’ve seen leaked two weeks ago.
From what we can tell — and we don’t have sufficient information — the sketchy image of the C3’s back on FCC’s website promises a wider device that may boast a QWERTY keyboard or maybe even touchscreen. But don’t get excited too fast, the logic says C3 is lower-end device than the C5. Maybe Nokia crippled connectivity options (i.e. data could be EDGE) and opted for a keyboard-equipped device, instead. I’m just thinking out loud, and we’ll have to wait for the official announcement (or at least some “in the wild” photos) to get additional details. Stay tuned in the meantime…
