MetroPCS just launched a new voicemail-to-text service for $3/month, that can send full voicemail messes via SMS or e-mail. The audio files are attached if you need to listen to it the old-fashioned way because the transcription is wonky. This is similar to the services offered by third parties like Google Voice, SpinVox andPhoneTag, only this MetroPCS service is powered by Yap.
Personally, I’ve always found transcription quality to be very hit and miss, and of questionable utility to boot. Still interested in signing up? You can find more information from MetroPCS.
