Motion-based apps get a special section in Nokia’s Ovi Store, sort of

If you’ve been looking for motion-based games for your Nokia handset, look no further. You can find some of them from store.ovi.com/publisher/eyeSight. As you can guess from the URL, it’s not a page dedicated to motion-based games, but a page listing all titles from publisher – eyeSight. However, you should know every eyeSight’s title is motion-enabled! Moreover, their games don’t require that your phone comes with a built-in accelerometer — rather they rely on/scan camera movements for gesture detection.

Among the games and apps you’ll find there are:

  • Fortune Cookies – which lets you “crush” a virtual fortune cookie with a tap of your hand above the phone to read your fortune.
  • Ninja Strike – where you throw Ninja Stars using a real throwing motion in front of the phone’s camera.
  • Truth or Dare – that lets you spin a virtual bottle with a “Whoosh!” of the hand above the device.
  • FartControl – I guess you know what this does.

Alternatively, you can search for “eyeSight” from your mobile client to find all games and apps compatible with your device.
