Nokia is extending the reach of its free walk and drive navigation service to two additional devices – Nokia E71 and E66. In order to take advantage of the deal, you’ll need to download and install the latest version of Ovi Maps for PC, and then install the application on your phone. Please note that if you don’t install Ovi Maps this way, you’ll be prompted to sign-up for a 9.99 EUR/year navigation service.

After that is set, you should sideload the latest country maps to save on mobile bandwidth cost — you do want to have maps pre-loaded on your device and not to load them on-demand – it’s way cheaper.

And if you wonder, the Ovi Maps is also compatible the Nokia N97, Nokia N97 mini, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, Nokia E52, Nokia E55, Nokia E72, Nokia 5230, Nokia 6710 Navigator, Nokia 6730 classic, Nokia X6 and Nokia N86 8MP.
