It seems that after new enhancements, Nokia’s Ovi Store is finally picking up the pace. We did reported that Digital Chocolate has experienced some success in selling its games to the Nokia phone users, and now we have some additional numbers to prove things are going well for the world’s largest handset maker.
According to Bill Perry, who is a senior Services Marketing Manager for Forum Nokia, Ovi Store is currently serving more than 1.6 million downloads a day! That’s an impressive figure, but we have more cool numbers to share:
- At the moment, Ovi Store includes mobile content and apps from publishers from more than 80 countries worldwide.
- More than 100 Nokia phones are compatible with the store, with over 60 of them being Symbian-powered smartphones.
- Among the most popular handsets are the Nokia X6, Nokia N97, Nokia N97 Mini, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, 5530 XpressMusic, Nokia E66, Nokia E71 and Nokia E72.
- 66 operators from 19 countries all around the world now support integrated mobile billing with Ovi Store.
