The folks at Hedone Design are up to their old tricks again with a new premium BlackBerry Theme for our consumption. Dubbed ‘Chryom’, this new theme is quite unique, and offers some features yet-to-be-seen in BlackBerry Theming.
Chryom is a ‘circular’ theme. All of your apps are located on a circular ‘dial’ in the center of your display. Sitting on-top of a leather background, the dial gives you instant access to your messages, sms/mms, calendar, phone, media and browser. Also, on the lower left and right of the dial you’ll notice your battery and signal meters. A nice touch. Also, If you’re not a fan of the default icons on your dial, no problem. You can customize them any way you wish.
The Chryom theme is the first theme from Hedone to receive a BQC (Berryfication Quality Certificate) award. These awards aren’t handed out every day, in fact, here’s a description of the criteria:
Due to quality, innovation and excellence, this product has received BQC (Berryfication Quality Certificate). BQC means that the product is high quality and complies with all standards and meets the criteria for assessment in all groups (structure and navigation, visual design, functionality and overall experience).
On the BQC scale, the Chryom theme scored a 9.6 out of 10. Not too shabby 🙂
