RIM Updates BlackBerry App World Developer Agreements

BlackBerry App World

Late last week RIM updated App World with some new features… Most notably the addition of carrier billing and credit card billing… PLUS, terms have been updated to bring RIM’s App World more in-line with other app stores, by offering a 70/30 split with developers. Naturally, RIM is now sending out an updated developer agreement. Notifications are going out as we speak, so developers, keep an eye open if you haven’t received it already.

Are we going to see a new explosion of apps because of these new terms? Are carriers going to do their darndest to pre-load and push their own apps now that they have their own billing option? Are you more than happy to wave ‘bye-bye’ to PayPal as the only billing option? Will Batman find and capture the Joker once and for all? All this and more, next time on IntoMobile.
