iPad Browser Share Surprisingly High, Accounts for .03% of All Web Traffic

Surprising iPad Browser Numbers.03% is generally not a heck of a lot. If I told you I was going to share .03% of my sandwich with you, you’d probably slap me in the face… But when we’re talking worldwide web traffic for new devices, .03% ain’t half bad.

Of course, I’m talking about the iPad here. In a new report from NetApplications, the iPad averaged .03%, per day of all web traffic for the first ten days after launch. Think about it. That’s 03% of ALL web traffic, for a NEW device… These numbers nearly match the March numbers for BlackBerry as a whole.

It’s been an amazing start for the iPad for sure, but look for more good things. The iPad with 3G will be available shortly, and International availability is coming next month. Should be very interesting to watch these numbers as the iPad makes its debut around the world.
