Samsung SGH T729 Blast launched on T-mobileThere isn’t anything exciting, or unexpected, about the newest Samsung slider to hit T-mobile’s network. Well, except for the name. The Samsung SGH-T729 will be offered to T-mo customers as the Samsung “Blast.” With a name like that, you’d expect some pretty nifty features, but aside from the SureType keypad (a semi-QWERTY keypad with two letters on each key) the 1.3 megapixel camera and EDGE-toting Samsung Blast is a middle-of-the-road slider from Sammy. Although, the integrated email support and pay-per-email message pricing schedule earn this thing some bonus points.

The myFaves-compatible Samsung Blast has the requisite microSD card slot, MP3 player and stereo Bluetooth features that we all expect from a media-oriented mid-ranger – with the $99 price-tag to match (two-year sentence contract required, of course).
