sprint2.jpgSprint Nextel had a tough second quarter this year. Sepnding a little over $50 million on their WiMAX network resulted in a profit of just $19 million or a penny per share. Will it pay off? Tough to tell, but they plan on spending a total of $1 Billion on WiMAX in 2007. Testing will happen in Chicago, Baltimore and Washington by the close of this year.
