Health and safety services company HTH Worldwide is making an iPhone app out of its mPassport service to allow iUsers to find quality healthcare services in twenty top destinations around the world.
Actually, we’re not talking about a single app, but a series of applications, which address the following cities:
- Europe: Barcelona, Budapest, Dublin, Florence, London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Rome, Vienna
- Africa: Cape Town, Nairobi
- South and Central America: Buenos Aires, Lima, Mexico City, Quito
- China: Beijing, Hong Kong
- Bermuda, Nassau
As for the app’s functionality, it allows users to find an English-speaking doctor or dentist and request an appointment, use mapping functionality to find the shortest route to convenient care, translate brand names for medications and key medical terms and phrases, and understand health risks and access the right emergency services.
The first mPassport iPhone app comments are solid, with one user saying it’s a travel app “every parent, brother or sister would want their family member to have on their iPhone or iPod touch while exploring the world.”
