YourAppReviewed.com sells positive iPhone app reviews

After pay per blog post and pay per tweet services, I guess we expected a service like this to emerge. A company/website called YourAppReviewed.com offers positive app review services for the iPhone apps.

There are three packs of reviews to choose from – Trial Pack which comes with 5 reviews, Standard Pack with 10, and Deluxe Pack with 25 reviews — which cost $49.99, $97.98 and $237.45, respectively. More or less, it’s about $10 per review.

The only problem with the service is that they basically guarantee positive reviews. If a reviewer wants to give some app or game a lower score, he or she will first email a developer to check whether that’s acceptable. Otherwise — if a score is 4 or 5 — that review will be submitted without asking.

As we live in the free world, the services like this can’t be banned. Apple, however, is known for its closed policies and could potentially try to figure out which users are affiliated with YourAppReviewed.com and eventually ban them…
