Wind Mobile Launches Mid-Range “Charged” Data Add-On

Wind Mobile has filled in their plans with a third option between their high-end Infinite and smaller Social Mobile data add-ons. The new Charged add-on goes for goes for $20/month and offers 500 MB of data and 4 cents per MB beyond that, available for both their BlackBerry 9700 and other smartphones. Charged is a nice medium between the 50 MB and unlimited plans, and will likely capture the vast majority of mobile data users. As for how it stacks up against the competition, the Charged add-on undercuts Rogers by $5.

We’re still hoping to see the HTC Magic on Wind at some point, and given the current clip at which Wind has been releasing handsets, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to expect it sometime this summer.
