The BlackBerry 8530 on Telus, which launched in silver and red a few months ago, is now available in a pink so cute it makes you throw up a little in your mouth. The Curve 8530 is one of RIM’s more succesful BlackBerrys to date, packing a 2 megapixel (no flash), optical touchpad, QVGA display, GPS, Wi-Fi, and some handy media controls on the top.
I appreciate Telus marketing this as a Mother’s Day present and all, but I can only picture my mom busting out her reading glasses every time she wants to type on this thing, hunting and pecking away at the keys with her index fingers so slowly that I would have no choice but to take it back from her in a fit of impatience, return it to the store, and come back with a box of chocolates and a card.
Head over to Telus to pick up the pink BlackBerry Curve 8530 for $49.99 on contract (or $24.99, we’re still not sure), or read our review to make sure it’s good enough for ma.
