Android, iPhone OS, Windows Mobile Apps Play Cracklin Rosie Together

Y’know, the competition between all of these smartphones tends to be high on animosity, and so we often forget that they can work together to make beautiful things – like play Cracklin’ Rosie on some junky-looking Frankenguitar composed of five phones (two Android devices, two Windows Mobile, and an iPod Touch). I’m not sure what I like more: the trippy lighting or the use of duct tape to keep the monstrocity together.

The rock star up there wrote the same app three times for each platform, which from a developer standpoint must have been interesting. He couldn’t use the same source code every time around, so had to start from scratch with each one, and tossed in iShred and Pocket Stompbox for a little extra help. Sure, it’s not quite as elegant as, say, Everyday Looper, but neat in the unconventional basement developer way.

To get a few more pictures of the “guitar” and the project, hit up the developer’s website.
