YES, this is actually an official OS release! Via the good folks at TurkCell, OS 5.0.0.656 is now available for the BlackBerry Bold 9700. If you’ve been holding off for a newer OS of the official kind (leaks weren’t for you), then today is your day. You can get started right here.
If you decide an update is in order, be sure to backup your device and take all necessary precautions before you proceed. I won’t be held responsible for your fubar-ed 9700!
