The Palm Pixi Plus was announced at the same time as the Pre Plus on AT&T, but even though the latter came out this weekend, the prior won’t be available until June 6 according to AT&T’s webOS landing page. The Pixi Plus will be going for $49.99 on a two-year contract, and includes the usual little-brother fixings: smaller 2.6″ 400 x 320 touchscreen, 2 megapixel camera, and 8 GB of memory instead of 16, but it still has the same smooth webOS experience.
It should be a nice little alternative if the Pre Plus, especially its $150 pricetag, doesn’t do it for you. Let’s just hope that when the Pixi Plus does come out in June, the App Catalog doesn’t crash again.
